Principal's Message

Claudia Stepan began her career in education as an elementary teacher in Ventura Unified School District.. After 13 years of teaching experience, she pursued her Masters in Educational Leadership and Administrative Credential through Cal State Northridge. Mrs. Stepan joined PVSD in 2014 as Dean of Students at Tierra Linda Elementary School. In 2016, she was promoted to Principal of Camarillo Heights STEM Academy before joining La Mariposa for the 2020-2021 school year. 

Mrs. Stepan's educational philosophy is growing student's leadership capacity to maximize academic, social, and emotional growth.
