Rotary Club Track Meet

La Mariposa students are proud to participate in the Camarillo Rotary Hap Rapp Memorial Track Meet each Spring. The Meet began in 1959 when a group of local Rotarians created an organized track and field competition for Camarillo boys and girls at the elementary and junior high school levels. Ribbons are awarded for first through fifth place in each event, and high point winners in each class will receive a trophy. The Guy Craig Memorial Award is presented to the school which demonstrates the best preparedness, sportsmanship, conduct at the meet and cooperation in all events.
